Comprehensive School Physical Activity Programs (CSPAP):
Building One Piece at a Time
On Thursday, November 21, 2013, Penn State Hershey PRO Wellness Center hosted a webinar on Comprehensive School Physical Activity Programs (CSPAP). This webinar included an overview of CSPAP. Guest speakers shared best practices for implementing the five components of this program:
1) High-quality physical education
2) Physical activity during the school day
3) Physical activity before and after school
4) Staff involvement
5) Family and community engagement
CSPAP can be implemented in all schools and is a great framework for developing or enhancing a healthy school environment.
We would really appreciate your feedback after viewing the webinar, so please be sure to complete our evaluation survey.
